Small things add up, and when you look back, they won’t seem so small anymore.
Let’s apply this to the fitness world, if you go in to the gym expecting to crush it or PR every day. You’re going to succeed at one thing regularly, disappointing yourself.
Apply this to nutrition and you have the biggest reason people can’t stick to a diet. They try to make huge jumps in their diet and it’s not sustainable. Instead they should be building the diet in a balanced and reasonable way. Or they expect to see results immediately instead of seeing the results from 6 months of hard work.
