925 nutrition Philosophy
We believe everyone can make a positive change in their health and fitness through nutrition. We work with CrossFit athletes, hobby runners, older adults and people who do not work out regularly. Everyone is able to make progress, if they are ready to make small, consistent changes to their food intake.
Greg Glassman said "Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit little starch, and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise, but not body fat." (CrossFit Journal "What is Fitness?") Glassman takes a very complicated science (for most) and beautifully simplifies it for everyone to understand. Eating well is honestly not as complicated as most may think. However, it does take commitment, self-control, and the ability to make sacrifices.
If you are a 925 athlete, you work hard each week during our workouts as well as have fun outside of the gym staying active with your family or friends. You may be one of those people who works out 6 days a week religiously, yet still struggles with the mirror or can't seem to get past a plateau in strength or stamina. The majority of the time, this is caused by poor nutrition. So, how do you fix it?
We have a few tricks up our sleeves, but again, it really isn't as difficult or complicated as you may believe. CrossFit suggests a couple different options. One, is simply adhering to Glassman's above guidance. The other two are the Paleo Diet and the Zone Diet. Both at great options to help you get your nutrition under control and see the benefits of properly fueling your body. If you follow either of these, you'll see your performance as well as body composition (mirror) change for the better!
Over the years, we've been perfecting our nutritional guidance and coaching through various challenges and working with athletes 1-on-1. If you need the extra help and encouragement to get started, we're happy to help. You can find information on our Nutrition Coaching below.
We start our nutrition coaching with a 1-on-1 consultation with you with a few goals in mind:
- What do you want to accomplish?
- What have you currently been doing?
- What have you tried in the past?
- What are things (nutritionally) you struggle with?
From there, we will do a Body Composition scan to get your numbers and set you up with an 8 week goal and plan to reach it. We will provide access to your Nutrition Coach on a daily basis so you will be able to get help making smart decisions. We'll also check up with you weekly and review your progress and adjust as needed. At the end of the 8 weeks, we will do another Body Composition scan and see how you've progressed.
The goal of our nutrition program is not to keep you in the program, but get you to your goal and educate you enough that you are able to make smart decisions for yourself while progressing towards your goals.
Level 1: $299 for 8-weeks*

LEvel 2 (ongoing coaching)
As mentioned before, the purpose of our Nutrition Coaching program is to equip you with the education and tools needed to stay healthy without us. However, we do understand sometimes it helps to have an accountability partner to get guidance from. Our Level 2 is intended to provide the needed accountability only for as long as you feel you need the extra help. The goal will still be to get you on your own two feet and headed towards health as fast as possible.
Level 2: $120/month* and includes 1 Body Composition Scan per 2 months.

Body composition testing/blood work
We strongly believe in seeing the numbers in order to make intelligent nutritional decisions. We utilize our in-house Body Composition Equipment as a quality resource for your body composition analysis and information and Inside Tracker for Blood Work analysis. Both of these, in conjunction with consulting your physician, will allow you to make the smartest decisions regarding your nutritional needs.
