Helping people make changes in their health, fitness, and improve their everyday lives is my primary goal and foremost passion. 925 is more than just a gym; it's a place where we are able to make genuine, long-lasting relationships with people and, through those relationships, teach them how to make a difference in their fitness. We help athletes take control of their health and learn how to improve it each day. Through this, we see incredible changes in not only their workouts, but their lives as well.
I have a long history in athletics and was fortunate enough to start CrossFit in 2009 while the training methodology was embraced by a fairly small, tight-knit community. CrossFit had not quite become mainstream as it has due to the annual CrossFit Games, ESPN, and the explosion of CrossFit boxes across the US and the world. Having the chance to experience the CrossFit culture close to the beginning and observe the massive growth and many different coaching styles has allowed me to keep the 925 programming purely CrossFit, while adapting and adjusting as new training ideas and methodologies within the CrossFit science have arisen.
With a degree in Mechanical Engineering as well as many different CrossFit courses under my belt, I have a strong understanding of how the movements and science behind CrossFit can be used to make drastic changes in individuals' health and fitness. These credentials also allow me to efficiently and effectively coach complex movements and teach athletes the 'why' behind what we do.
All this being said, the most important thing of all truly is being able to use 925 to enable our coaches and athletes to use their God-given abilities and gifts to help others. Our goal is to improve the lives of those around us using fitness as the catalyst. At 925, we look at each person who walks through our doors as an opportunity to provide the coaching, education, and encouragement that has the potential to transform lives for the better.
