I grew up in the hill country and have always loved it here. I have six siblings and we are extremely competitive. I have a beautiful wife named Ashley and we love exercising together.
I stayed close to home and attended The University of the Incarnate Word and attained a bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Science in 2016. I had the privilege of competing in Division I track & field while I was there. My favorite parts of school and training were the team aspects. I enjoyed studying with my classmates, training everyday with my teammates, always working together to achieve a common goal. The long process it takes to get to that goal, whether achieved or not, is the part where the most growth happens. This is why I wanted to join Crossfit. I wanted to surround myself with others who want to work hard and chase a better version of themselves physically and mentally.
I started Crossfit immediately after graduation to fill the void that team training had left. It teaches us that we all have a common goal of wanting to be healthier and fitter. Crossfit 925 is a great at taking many different personalities and instilling a team culture. There will never be a boring day at 925; we train for the unknown and the unknowable; every day will test you in some variant capacity.
